Three colour silk screen facsimile of the poster from Hunter S. Thompson’s bid to become sheriff of Aspen, Colorado in 1970. As candidate for the Freak Party Thompson ran on a «Mescaline platform», promising to change the city’s name from Aspen to «Fat City», putting dishonest drug dealers in stocks on the courthouse lawn and disarming the police. Thompson also shaved his head bald, providing him the opportunity to refer to the crew cut, ex army, republican Sheriff he ran against as «my long-haired opponent».
